Incorporated in 2012, Intersol Technical Services is a private limited company in England, trading as Intersol Global (IG). IG is led by three former UK law enforcement PIP level 2 Specialist Investigative Interview Advisors, Ian Hynes, Mick Confrey and John Crook. Recognised as international experts in the training and application of the PEACE model, the approach of this trio of practitioner experts is underpinned by empirical research and further supported by key academic specialists in the field of investigative interviewing: Professor Amina Memon (winner of the Outstanding Impact in Public Policy award from the Economic and Social Research Council for her research spanning 25 years changing the way police interview witnesses), and Professor Eric Shepherd (co-author of key practitioner handbook ‘Investigative interviewing: a conversation management approach’). Together, the team bring over one hundred years of practical and empirically researched investigation and investigative interviewing experience, to serious and complex - law enforcement, civil, regulatory, workplace, and health and safety investigations.
IG has two core functions:
Delivering high quality regulated investigative interviewing and investigation training.
Providing specialist impartial external investigation services.

The company is an Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) recognised awards centre (205.001) with direct claims status.
The company designed and deliver the Level 3 Certificate in Investigative Interviewing (PEACE) and the Level 3 Certificate in Investigations, both of which sit on the regulated qualification framework (RQF) HERE & HERE
Providing specialist impartial external investigation services
The company have a specialist investigation team that deliver an external and impartial operational investigation service. The team consists of case managers who manage a national team of investigators. Investigations are delivered using a secure encrypted case management system, Symplicity Advocate (ISO-9001, SSAE-18, SOC-2 and ISO 27001 certified).
The continuous experience of conducting investigations informs our training. This dynamic exchange between the two core functions, ensures that the training content is at the forefront of practical application and is responsive to changing jurisdictional contexts and environments.
With capacity to travel internationally and a global network of trainers, IG remains at the vanguard of investigation and investigative interviewing competency and practice.
IG is ISO 9001:2015 certified, for the delivery of the core functions. Cyber Essentials certified and registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). All information provided by clients in performance of any contract awarded is treated as confidential and covered by Data Sharing Agreements”
