WEBINAR - Safe cultures, safeguarding and child protection - a collaborative approach

The consequences of abuse  – physical, emotional or sexual- on children and vulnerable people are incalculable and the numbers are staggering. For companies or organisations adopting unsafe cultures in which inappropriate behaviours can thrive, the outcomes can be similarly damaging. There can be no room for complacency in this field.

This webinar will bring together experts from Pinsent Mason’s unique multi-disciplinary Safe cultures, safeguarding and child protection team - a group of senior and experienced lawyers, supported by highly skilled professionals within the safeguarding sector, including safeguarding and sexual violence consultants, communications and safeguarding investigation specialists.

With recent legislation placing greater responsibility on employers and  increased penalties and enforcements for non-compliance,  the team will discuss how companies can work positively and proactively to create safer cultures in the workplace and to ensure robust training and processes are implemented, understood and espoused both throughout and at the highest level of the organisation.  The team will also discuss best practice in responding swiftly, transparently and effectively to a safeguarding failure, and the myriad considerations that accompany an emerging crisis of this nature.
